Blackburn with Darwen Cycle App – Available for Download
A new cycling app for Blackburn with Darwen has been launched to let people discover the fantastic cycling and walking routes across Pennine Lancashire.
The app is FREE to download on all Apple and Android phones and there are choices for those just learning to ride or getting back in the saddle after several years to the more adventurous who can head out along the intermediate and advanced level rides.

British Cycling and HSBC UK have launched the HSBC UK Guided Rides Programme creating new opportunities for the people of Lancashire to get into cycling. There are three levels of Guided rides available, Easy Going, Steady and Challenging, with each level designed to appeal to riders of differing levels of ability, confidence or experience.

British Cycling’s Breeze scheme aims to promote female cycling.
Breeze rides go at speeds that suit everyone and they often start or finish at a cafe so everyone can have a drink and a chat.
